This acclaimed documentary series provides a graphic, candid historical survey of juvenile male corporal punishment and looks at how artists throughout the ages have rendered these scenes with a unique sense of drama, eroticism and often humor. There is an amazing diversity to the aesthetic choices that provide further fuel to the arguments both for and against corporal punishment. There is no pornographic material. All material has been openly appropriated in accordance to the "fair use provisions of pre-recorded material for non-commercial, artistic purposes from both public and commercial television and motion pictures from around the world as available on the public airwaves". This series is presented for educational and activist purposes only.

DIRECTOR'S NOTE
I attended St. Francis Cabrini Elementary School in New Orleans, LA. I was primarily taught by nuns who disciplined us through lines, compositions, standing at the chalk-board with our arms folded or detention. They were very creative and very thorough. They did not, except on very rare occassions, however use corporal punishment. That privilege seemed reserved for the principal, the school's disciplinarian and select coaches. Although many nuns did carry rulers, which they smacked frequently against desks, knuckles, arms or legs to get our attention. These were also used on those rare occassions on the seat of a naughty boy's (almost never a girls) pants.
I was a model student and was never spanked or paddled at Cabrini. In fact I only got detention five times in eight years and one of them was because the entire class was given detention and two were because "All of the boys!" were given detention. I was only spanked by my parent's on a few occassions (and only a few light strokes with a belt on the seat of my pants) that I barely even remember. My interest (fetish) in corporal punishment developed from seeing a fellow classmate paddled in my second grade gym class. I became quite mesmerized by the ritual. It consumed me. I wanted to be spanked but at the same time was too afraid to do anything that would get me spanked. I soon discovered that films and television were ripe with scenes of boys being punished and quickly began cataloging them in my mind.
This video series provides a graphic, candid historical survey of juvenile male corporal punishment and looks at how artists throughout the ages have rendered these scenes with a unique sense of drama and tremendous humor. There is an amazing diversity to the aesthetic choices that provide further fuel to the arguments both for and against corporal punishment. Although I am an admitted spanking enthusiast, as I was editing this project I found the clips naturally led me to curate them in a manner that presents an anti-spanking philosophy. It has had a very profound, in some ways cathartic, effect on me and many of the people who have watched them.
There are literally thousands of scenes out there in the mainstream media. My goal is to someday find them all. This series is intended for educational and activist purposes only.
